Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
attended the closing ceremony and announcement of the results of the student
family and scouting festivals and the Ideal Student competition at the college
level. These events were organized by the General Administration for Student Welfare.
Also present were Prof. Bouthaina Youssef Fouad, Dean of the Faculty of
Agriculture; Prof. Ashraf El-Abbasy, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science;
Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University;
Prof. Mohamed Kamal, Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family at the
University; Ms. Salwa Fouad, Director General of the General Administration for
Student Welfare; and a number of faculty members, staff, and students. The
ceremony took place on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Central Library.
Prof.
Sherif El-Attar explained that university students need to actively participate
in student activities to build their character, enhance their skills, and
broaden their horizons. Therefore, Fayoum University is committed to graduating
young people capable of serving society and achieving its goals in various
fields.
During
the meeting, the results of the Family Festival were announced as follows: In
the volunteer work competition, the Faculty of Archaeology won first place, the
Faculty of Medicine second place, and the Faculty of Science third place.
In the
parade competition, the Faculty of Agriculture won first place, the University
Residences second place, and the Faculty of Specific Education third place.
As for
the overall evaluation results, the Faculty of Agriculture came in first place,
the Faculty of Nursing second place, and the Faculty of Medicine third place.
In the
scouting festival, the Faculties of Nursing and Science came in first place,
the Faculties of Specific Education and Social Work came in second place, and
the Faculties of Early Childhood Education, Agriculture, Engineering,
University Residences, Education, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and
Pharmacy came in third place.
The
competition's judging panel, exemplary scouts, those with exceptional efforts
and boundless dedication, scout leaders, student welfare officials from the
faculties, and a number of administrators were also honored.
Regarding
the competition for the ideal male and female students at the university level,
Mohammed Bashir Elsayed from the Faculty of Dentistry came in first place,
Youssef Ahmed Ibrahim from the Faculty of Medicine came in second place, and
Ali Mohammed from the Faculty of Education came in third place.
Rozan
Jihad from the Faculty of Pharmacy came in first place, Maria Emad from the
Faculty of Science came in second place, Nada Shaaban from the Faculty of
Medicine came in third place, and Yomna Ayman from the Faculty of Engineering
came in third place.
