Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and
chaired by Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service
and Environmental Development, the Board of Directors of the Public Service Center
for Local Community Development held a meeting. The meeting was attended by
Prof. Naglaa Saad, Acting Dean of the Faculty of A Alsun; Prof. Ashraf
El-Abbasy, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science; Prof. Sherine Tayea, Acting
Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence; Prof. Wafaa
Yousry, Director of the Public Service Center for Local Community Development;
Prof. Omar El-Sayed Ahmed, Supervisor and Deputy Director of the Center; Prof.
Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University; Mr.
Abdel Nasser Bakry Mohamed, Director General of the Community Service and
Environmental Development Sector; and Ms. Ghada Seddik, Director of the Office
of the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The
meeting took place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
During
the meeting, the council was informed of the university council's decision
regarding the financial regulations for specialized centers and units at the
university and college levels. This decision was implemented in the center's
bylaws, and amendments were submitted for approval by the board of directors.
The council was also briefed on a comprehensive report detailing the activities
of the Public Service Center for Community Development, including training
courses, educational seminars, workshops, participation in comprehensive
outreach programs, implementation of the annual social program, and execution
of several cooperation protocols.
Furthermore,
proposals for implementing a number of training courses and activities in the
coming period were presented.
