Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental
Development, witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the
Faculty of Medicine at the university, represented by Prof. Naglaa El-Sherbiny,
Dean of the Faculty, and the Egyptian Fetal Medicine Foundation, affiliated
with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, represented by Prof. Mohamed Kamal
Atman, President of the Foundation.
In the
presence of Prof. Haitham Badran, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, the agreement includes the provision of
theoretical and practical training for obstetricians and gynecologists in the
field of ultrasound for obstetrics, gynecology, and fetal medicine. This
training aims to enhance the doctors' skills and equip them with modern and
professional methods.
The
agreement also provides an opportunity for doctors in the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine to attend workshops and
scientific conferences organized by the Foundation. Furthermore, It facilitates
the participation of qualified trainers accredited by the International Society
of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and accredited by fetal
medicine units at Egyptian universities to contribute to related activities and
conferences.
In
addition to participating in the development work of the Fetal Medicine Unit of
the Faculty of Medicine with modern equipment and devices.
