Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
inaugurated an art exhibition entitled "The Pulse of Materials" at
the Faculty of Specific Education. The opening was attended by Prof. Hani
Abdel-Badea, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Ashraf El-Abbasy, Dean of the Faculty
of Sports Sciences; Prof. Ahmed Fathy, Former Dean of the Faculty of Specific
Education; Prof. Ghada Youssef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs;
Dr. Ahmed Salah Ayoub, the exhibition supervisor; and a number of faculty
members and students. The inauguration took place on Monday, May 18, 2026, at
the Faculty.
The
exhibition featured a collection of artworks created by second-year students as
part of their recycling course. The artworks utilized various materials such as
fabric scraps, cardboard, plastic, rubber, metals, and pieces of wood,
transforming them into aesthetically pleasing pieces of art. The aim was to
deepen students' understanding of environmental materials and develop their
creative abilities by adapting these materials to create diverse artistic works.
