Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata,
President of Fayoum University, Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for
Education and Student Affairs, received members of the Supreme Council of
Universities committee: Prof. Tarek Farouk Abdel-Samad, member of the Planning
Committee for the Sports Science Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities;
Eng. Mona Nader Galal, Information Systems Engineer for Digital Transformation
at the Supreme Council of Universities; and Ms. Hanan Abdullah Nassef,
Technical Specialist for Digital Libraries at the Supreme Council of
Universities. The committee was there to oversee the aptitude tests for
prospective students holding a high school diploma who wish to enroll in the
Faculty of Sports Science. Prof. Ashraf El-Abbasy, Dean of the Faculty of
Sports Science, was also present. The meeting took place on Sunday, July 26,
2026.
Prof. Ashraf El-Abbasy noted that the committee
inspected the various stages of the aptitude test process, from student
registration and document submission, through the height, weight, and physique
assessments, to the physical fitness and skills tests and medical examinations,
to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of all stages of the tests.
The committee also listened to the opinions of several
male and female students taking the aptitude tests to ensure the highest levels
of discipline and a suitable environment for them during the testing process.
This took place in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud
El-Bashihy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Moataz Ali
Hassan, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and
several faculty and administrative staff members.
It is worth noting that registration for the aptitude
tests for admission to the college continues until August 6th of
this year through the online registration portal:
