In line
with Fayoum University's commitment to enhancing its quality assurance and
accreditation system and improving institutional and academic performance, and
under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum
University, Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President of Fayoum University for
Education and Student Affairs, held a meeting with the Quality Assurance Unit
Committee at the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, in the presence of Dr. Tamer Magdy
Issa, Director of the University's Quality Assurance Center, to follow up on
quality files and fulfill accreditation requirements. The meeting took place on
Monday, July 27, 2026.
During
the meeting, the final report received from the National Authority for Quality
Assurance and Accreditation of Education regarding the conditional
institutional and program accreditation of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom was
discussed. The most prominent observations in the report were reviewed, along
with mechanisms for addressing them to ensure compliance with the Authority's
requirements and achieve full accreditation.
The
meeting also addressed the development of a work plan for the college's Quality
Assurance Unit for the upcoming phase, the preparation of an improvement plan
for standards that have not yet been fully met, and the follow-up on the
completion of the college's annual report for the 2025/2026 academic year. It
also covered the completion of progress reports for the various units and
centers within the college, as well as updating data related to the college and
its academic programs.
Prof.
Sherif El-Attar emphasized the importance of concerted efforts from all college
staff and teamwork to implement the improvement plans according to the
established timelines. This will enhance the quality of the educational process
and achieve the university's vision of reaching the highest standards of
academic and institutional excellence.
For his
part, Dr. Tamer Magdy Issa explained that the university's Quality Assurance
Center continues to provide technical support and necessary consultations to
the colleges and monitors the implementation of improvement plans on a regular
basis. This contributes to meeting the requirements of the National Authority
for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and obtaining
institutional and program accreditation.
