Dr.
Mohamed Hany Ghoneim, Governor of Fayoum, honored Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata,
President of Fayoum University, by presenting him with the Fayoum Governorate
Shield in recognition of his dedicated efforts and the significant progress the
university has achieved during his tenure.
Dr.
Ghoneim praised the pivotal role of Fayoum University as a development center
of expertise for the governorate. He noted that during Prof. Hatata's
presidency, the university made numerous valuable contributions to various
projects and collaborative initiatives between the university and the
governorate. Furthermore, the university provided comprehensive support to the
governorate's projects, implemented integrated outreach programs in the
governorate's villages, and facilitated the activation of presidential
initiatives. He also highlighted the university's strategic partnerships with
the governorate's agencies across various development sectors.
For his
part, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata affirmed that the university has been more than
just an academic institution; it has been a true partner through its volunteer
initiatives, field studies, and scientific consultations, all of which have
contributed to shaping the governorate's development policies.
