Prof.
Sherif El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University and Vice President for
Education and Student Affairs, stated that, in line with the Ministry of Higher
Education and Scientific Research's strategy to expand and offer academic
programs in Egyptian public universities, Fayoum University offers a number of
programs across various disciplines. These programs contribute to achieving the
state's strategic goals for advancing the educational system, serving the
future of digital transformation and keeping pace with labor market
developments. They also contribute to community development, achieving
sustainable development, and enhancing scientific skills and modern
technological applications.
He
added that these specialized programs are based primarily on credit hours and
modern curricula, with the development of courses and academic regulations,
providing an educational product that combines theoretical knowledge with
practical training.
Prof.
El-Attar announced that Fayoum University includes several distinguished
programs, namely:
*Faculty of Engineering*: This includes the
Mechatronics Engineering program, the Construction Engineering and Project
Management program, the Sustainable Architecture Technology program, and the
Housing and Urban Development program.
*Faculty of Computers and Artificial
Intelligence*: This includes the Bioinformatics Computing program and the
Artificial Intelligence program.
* Faculty of
Pharmacy*: Offers a Clinical Pharmacy program.
* Faculty of
Science*: Offers a Petroleum and Water Geology program.
* Faculty of
Agriculture*: Offers a Biotechnology program taught in English.
* Faculty of Arts*:
Offers a Geography and Geomatics program.
* Faculty of Sports
Science*: Offers a Physical Education Teacher Preparation program taught in
English, and a Physical Education Teacher Preparation program for students with
special needs.
* Faculty of Tourism
and Hotels*: Offers an Environmental Tourism Guidance program and a Tourism and
Hospitality program.
* Faculty of Early
Childhood Education*: Offers a Kindergarten Teacher Preparation program taught
in English and an Early Childhood Educational Media program.
In addition, there is a Sports
Tourism Management program offered jointly by the Colleges of Tourism and
Hotels and Sports Science.
