Under
the auspices of Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum
University, the Council of Postgraduate Studies, Cultural Relations, and
Research held its 230th session, chaired by Prof. Assem Fouad
El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and
Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Postgraduate Studies, Cultural
Relations, and Research Sector, and attended by the esteemed members of the
Council. The meeting took place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in the conference
hall of the Institute of Research and Strategic Studies for Nile Basin
Countries.
The
Council discussed the proposed regulations for the Diploma in Forensic
Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, in addition to reviewing the proposal to
establish a scientific journal specializing in nursing, titled "Journal of
the Faculty of Nursing."
The
Council also approved the registration of 60 Master's degrees and 18 Doctoral
degrees across various faculties of the University. Following this, the Council
discussed the remaining items on the agenda.
