And under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Naglaa El-Sherbiny, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mashahit, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

The Safe Women’s Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, in cooperation with the University's Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, organized a seminar titled "Information Technology Crimes and Digital Protection." The session was led by Dr. Heba Hussein Rahim, Director of the Safe Women’s Unit, Prof. Dr. Nohayer El-Shoshany, Director of the University's Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, and Dr. Azza El-Ashiri, Coordinator of the unit at the Faculty of Medicine.

The seminar featured Mr. Mohamed Mohie El-Din, Attorney for the National Council for Women, as the keynote speaker on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.The seminar discussed various forms of IT crimes, how to handle them, the necessary legal procedures to take when targeted, and the Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes. The event concluded with an open discussion and a Q&A session for the attendees
