First Day of the Scientific Field Trip for Tourism Guidance Department Students to Aswan

As part of the scientific field trip organized for students of the Department of Tourism Guidance at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the first day of the program featured a series of distinguished field visits across the city of Aswan.

The program commenced with a visit to the High Dam and the Friendship Monument, where Prof. Dr. Walid El-Hadi Sheikh El-Arab and Prof. Dr. Hani Rushdi Younes delivered an academic presentation covering the historical, economic, and engineering significance of the project.

The program also included a visit to Kalabsha Temple, where Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahim Mohamed and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Fayeq conducted the guided explanation, followed by a visit to Beit El-Wali Temple under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ayman Ahmed Ismail.

The first day's field tours concluded with the students' transfer to the hotel to complete check-in procedures and have lunch, after which the program continued with a visit to the Nubia Museum, further enriching students' cultural and civilizational awareness.
