Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and chaired by Prof. Dr. Farouk Abdel Nabi, Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, the Tourism Studies Department Council convened for its May 2026 session.

As part of the meeting, a program description workshop was organized, reflecting the Department's commitment to developing the educational process and updating academic curricula in alignment with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
