Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the doctoral thesis presented by researcher Shereen Ali Abdel Hamid Abdallah, from the Department of Tourism Studies, was successfully defended on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The thesis was entitled:
"The Role of Formal and Informal Bodies in Supporting Women's Entrepreneurship in the Tourism Sector in Egypt"
