Under the patronage of Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University, and Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty Council of Tourism and Hotels held its periodic meeting, chaired by Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty and Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, in the presence of the Council's members.

The Council began its proceedings by extending congratulations to Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy on assuming the responsibility of Dean of the Faculty, and she affirmed the importance of working with a spirit of unified teamwork and continuing efforts and achievements in a manner that contributes to the Faculty's advancement, and to fulfilling its pioneering educational, research, and community role through all of its distinguished members.

The meeting included the approval of the examination schedules, the formation of the examination control committee for the summer semester across the various programs, the formation of examination and evaluation committees for a number of master's and doctoral students, and the presentation of the proposed activities plan for the 2026/2027 academic year in the fields of environmental development and community service.

In a gesture of loyalty and gratitude from the Faculty, the Council extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Ashraf Abdel Maboud, former Dean of the Faculty, for the efforts and achievements he made during his tenure as Dean.

The Council also extended its thanks and appreciation to Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed, for his efforts during his tenure as Acting Dean of the Faculty.
