Under the patronage of Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University, Prof. Asem Fouad El-Eisawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, attended this morning, Thursday, September 3, 2026, the ceremony for the distribution of school supplies to orphaned children, organized by the Seminars and Conferences Administration of the General Administration for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and the Zahraa El-Ihsan Charitable Foundation, at Lecture Hall (1) on the ground floor.

The event was attended by Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Abdel Nasser Bakry Mohamed, Director General of the General Administration for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ms. Fatma El-Zahraa Ismail, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Zahraa El-Ihsan Charitable Foundation, along with a number of faculty members, administrators, staff, and students' guardians.

Prof. Asem Fouad El-Eisawy affirmed that Fayoum University and the Community Service and Environmental Development sector place great importance on community activities and initiatives aimed at supporting priority-care groups and helping to ease the burdens on families, emphasizing that the university places community service at the forefront of its priorities, in line with its societal role and responsibility.

He extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who organized the ceremony, and to the Zahraa El-Ihsan Charitable Foundation for its efforts and continuous support of students and priority-care families, affirming Fayoum University's continued commitment to providing every form of support for initiatives that contribute to achieving social solidarity and enhancing students' prospects at the start of their academic year.

For her part, Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy welcomed the attendees, expressing her sincere thanks and appreciation to the Fayoum University administration, the Community Service and Environmental Development sector, the General Administration for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the Zahraa El-Ihsan Charitable Foundation, for their efforts in making the ceremony a success.

She affirmed that such events embody the values of diligence, aspiration, belonging, sincerity, and love, and underscore the importance of society's institutions coming together to provide support and care for students, contributing to building a generation capable of achieving its aspirations and serving its nation and community.

Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed noted that the Faculty's hosting of this ceremony reflects its commitment to supporting community and humanitarian activities, commending the fruitful cooperation between Fayoum University and the Zahraa El-Ihsan Charitable Foundation.

He commended the role played by the Foundation as the official sponsor of the ceremony, and the support and efforts it provides to serve the residents of Fayoum Governorate's villages, and its work in delivering assistance to those who deserve it, affirming that integration among community institutions represents an honorable model in supporting students and priority-care families.

In the same context, Mr. Abdel Nasser Bakry Mohamed emphasized the importance of parents and students exerting further effort to achieve their dreams and aspirations, noting that building a student's character begins with developing a sense of responsibility, ambition, and the ability to face challenges.

For her part, Ms. Fatma El-Zahraa Ismail explained that the Foundation was keen on providing school supplies to approximately 300 students across various educational stages, aiming to bring smiles, happiness, and joy to students and their families, affirming that the Foundation spares no effort in providing support and assistance to deserving groups.

She also expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar and Prof. Asem Fouad El-Eisawy for their continuous support and fruitful cooperation with the Foundation, which had a significant impact on the success of the ceremony and the achievement of its humanitarian and community objectives.
