Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hesham Ezzat, Head of the Department of Hotel Studies, practical training for the "Bakery and Pastry" course was conducted for third-level students enrolled in the Hospitality Business Administration Program on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The training included the preparation of a number of items, among them sablé pastry dough, cream kunafa, and rice pudding, as part of developing students' practical skills and deepening their understanding of professional preparation standards.
The session was supervised by Ms. Raghda El-Shafei, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Hotel Studies, with the participation of Chef Paula Nadi, who guided students through the preparation steps and professional standards for each product.
